By Barbara Miller Beem PHILADELPHIA -- The year 2020 will be remembered for many things, not the least being the commemoration (somewhat overshadowed) of the 100th anniversary of American women’s suffrage. But as it happened, some of their sisters were granted the right to vote in the earliest days of the budding country.
