YPSILANTI, Mich. — Like so many of Schmidt’s Antiques sales, their March 4 gallery auction was a cut above. Bidders seeking art, home decor, and furniture had 300 exceptional lots from local estates and private collections, spanning categories like ethnic art, fine paintings, sculpture, and noteworthy mid-century furniture.
