Collectors love beautiful yellow ware pottery, and many pay well for a mint-conditioned piece. But yellow ware was once considered one of the cheapest forms of common pottery made. In the mid-1800s, when production of yellow ware reached its peak, over 100 American potters turned out yellow ware.
