Collectors on the prowl for Lanz Bulldog toy tractors
By Larry LeMasters Beginning in 1921, Heinrich Lanz AG began production of one of Germany’s most popular farm tractors, the Lanz Bulldog farm tractor. The tractor was made in Mannheim, Baden- Württemberg. Various versions of the Lanz Bulldog tractor were produced through 1960; although John Deere purchased the company in 1956, using the name John Deere-Lanz on its line of tractors.
