10 empty Corgi boxes drew collectors at Freeland Auction Service
By Karin Milliman FREELAND, Mich. — Toy lovers know that sometimes the box can be as valuable as the toy itself or perhaps even more valuable. That was the case when Freeland Auction Services sold the toy collection of Dr. Wallace Pike from Swartz Creek, Mich. He had collected dozens of Corgi, Matchbox, Lesney, Dinky, Solido, Tekno and other vintage die cast toy.
