Fuller Brush man cleans up with collectors
By Larry LeMasters In 1948, Red Skelton starred as Red Jones, a down-and-out worker, trying to make good as a door-to-door salesman in The Fuller Brush Man. Prior to selling for Fuller Brush, Red was fired from every job he tried. While this show is a comedy, except for the name and a few other changes, the story could be that of Alfred C. Fuller, the founder of the Fuller Brush Company.
